So I have quite a few products to go over. Some I am very excited about, while others, not so much.
This product is a Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the color Sky Pink.
This color is not my favorite. It comes out a little darker than baby pink and it's Matte. now when I bought this I had no idea what certain color would look like on me. I'm just not a fan of a baby-ish pink on very fair brunettes. So this product would be better on more tan girls. As for me,this was a miss.
All of the Revlon Lustrous Lipstick can be found at Walmart, K-mart and Target and they run for under 5 dollars. I went cheap because I am NOT big on lip colors. I'm just not a fan, I'm constantly touching my lips, so they never really stay on.
This is also a Revlon Lustrous Lipstick in Smoked peach. I like this one a lot more than Sky pink, but not too much. I really have to be careful wearing this because if it goes on too thick it looks too orange. It goes on smooth and it is Matte.
This is an in-between for me. I like it, but I am not quite so sure how much yet.
This one on the other hand I am IN LOVE with. This is from Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains collection in the color Honey.
This goes on very nice and actually gives a nice color, and its not like BAM color. It comes out a purple/pinkish color and it really STAINS the lips. In a 5 hour trip I still didn't have to reapply. This is my favorite Revlon Lip color so far. Balm stains run for a little over 7 dollars at Walmart and K-mart and they are totally worth it. I feel like the point on it makes it easier to get it on. :) So if I were to recommend
anything from Revlon Lip colors it would definitely be the Just Bitten Kissable Balm stains.
These are my FAVORITE lip products to date. The one on the left is Smith's Rosebud Salve and the right is C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve. Honestly between the two there is NO difference except for the color of the Salve. It does not apply color to your lips. I like these because they leave your lips feeling silky and beautiful :) and they smell like Roses! It goes on as a clear gloss, and the cool thing abotu them is that you can use them as a hand softener, heel softener and lips. there are a bunch of different things you can use them for listed on the size of the tin they come in. These are a definite recommend from me!
I have had mine for about 6 months now and use it everyday on my lips. A little goes a long way!
I bought The Smith's Rosebud Salve online on Amazon for $5.50 plus S&H. BUT You can get C.O.Bigelow's Rose Salve for $5.50 at Bath and Body Works.
Anyone like me who loves lip gloss but hates that nasty waxy taste that come leave on your lips will LOVE this lip gloss from Bath and Body works. It's Vanilla Mint and leaves your lips extra moisturized and has a yummy taste to it. I have a habit of licking my lips a lot so I hate when I am wearing something on my lips that tastes terrible. It goes on clear and isn't too stick. I got mine for $5.50 at Bath and Body Works :)
My last product today is a Mud mask that I LOVE. I got it from Sally's Beauty for $13.49 because I have a beauty card. If you do not have one It will cost $14.99 and you can get it here: Mud Mask. Burt if I were you, I'd get the beauty Card because it's totally worth, I think the card cost like 5 dollar.. maybe not I can't really remember but you get discounts on EVERYTHING.
I have seriously had this shit for over a year and It's not even half way gone. You do not need a ton when using this mask and it really works to brighten up your face. When you put it on you will feel a cool/tingly feeling, it states on the little jar it's in that it is normal. I LOVE this stuff and use it twice a week.
Seriously. buy this shit. It's awesome.
I'll update again in a couple of days, I have a few higher end products I need to try out and I'll review them in a couple days :) So stay tuned!
